I tried for something different, like seeing Clef's memories of the lesson.
From right to left:
He's practicing the spell, then confronting the Avinies (Snow rabbits) but as his teacher requests no harm must come to them... he takes one XD - theory he thinks is that they won't hurt their own kin so he brings the Aviny with him, carrying it in his mouth.
He doesn't harm is as you can see he lets it go at the end after he found the fountain.
The Aviny eating is Celie's pet for the extra credit. ^^/
